Essential Ways to Improve your Image

All of us need a makeover every once and again.  For some of us, it might be as simple as going to the salon and getting a facial or a manicure, and for others it might be as involved as going back to school to get a master’s degree in an entirely new field.  But no matter who we are, there comes a time when we are drawn to reinventing some aspects of who we are and how we are perceived.  This is all a natural part of evolving and it shouldn’t be something to cower away from.  This is the very essence of following your dreams and it is an instinct to be embraced.

If you are going to create the you that you want to be, you need to visualize that exactly who that person is.  For me, it’s someone who is admired as a professional and looked up to for a high and generous moral standard while at the same time looking great.  Improving your image starts with making small changes that turn into habits.  For example, because I want to be seen as someone who is a consummate professional, I am always the first one to work and the last one to leave.  I make this a rule.  I don’t talk about it, I just let people see it and come to their own conclusions.  After all, it’s my image that I want to inform their opinions, not some kind of boastful nature.  Obviously, if I always told everyone at the office that I worked harder than they, my image would not be improved at all.

Another way to improve your image as a high class and cosmopolitan person is to dress the part.  People will be more likely to take you seriously if you take yourself seriously, and that means dressing professionally as well as acting professionally.  The perfect suit is the best step to take in this regard.  Not only will it make you look amazing, it will inform the way that you conduct business.  Not only is a sign of respect to your colleagues, but it is a demand that your colleagues respect you.  You will never see a politician on the television wearing anything unprofessional.  That’s because they have an image that they absolutely must project if they’re to be taken seriously.  Whatever suit you decide on, it must fit you.  Not just fit you, but fit you perfectly.  That’s why buying a suit and not getting it tailored is the same as not buying a suit at all.  It’s a detriment to your image if you look like you’re trying too hard but not succeeding.

If you want to add the most classic of all cherries on top of your new image, think of nothing more than a Rolex watch.  It is quintessentially classy and respectful.  It is the aged filet of timepieces.

If you are in the midst of giving yourself an overall makeover, you would do well to visit either Rolex blog Or The Watch Buyers Group and get this reinvention started on the right foot.
