Wishlist #30 // Boohoo: Top 10 under £10

I've decided to make this 'Top 10 under £10' thing a weekly feature, especially as a lot of stores on the high street have such amazing sales right now! Last week's was my top 10 from the Missguided sale so do check that out if you've missed it! Anyway, this week, I bring to you...Boohoo. Another high street store that is doing everything right. Seriously, I couldn't narrow it done without a lot of stressful thinking. #bloggerproblems.

On another note, I paid the beach an impromptu visit this weekend so if you want to see snaps and other cool shiz, take a look at my Instagram (@infamoushearts). And... I cut my hair *insert monkey with hands over mouth emoji*

one // two // three // four // five // six // seven // eight // nine // ten

Take a look at this and tell me how amazing this print is! The blue green hues with that aztec-y print makes this the ultimate summer crop top!

As soon as I laid eyes on this midi skirt, I fell in love (okay, that's an exaggeration) and knew I just had to include it in this wishlist! The embellished hem was what drew me in and as a petite one, although midi styles aren't the most flattering, I'm going to give this a go. Come on, at that price, it's hard not to!

If you want something different from the plain old solid coloured blazer then this is it. Perfect for 'jazzing' up a neutral outfit or when you want to throw in some prints into the mix.

There was something about this top that caught my eye. Maybe it was the square neckline or the peplum design, but it just screamed 'chic'. I can picture this being amazing dressed up with a bodycon skirt or jeans with heels for a fancy night out!

Another thing that caught my eye because it's just so darn unique! That maxi floral pattern that splits open at the front...I've never seen anything like it and I love it! A great versatile piece to bring on vacation as I can see this working for both night and day, depending on the combination of accessories.

Maxi kimonos are something that I've seen cropping up a lot lately and I can definitely see why. They're more than your average kimono and can elongate your height if you're petite...like me! :D

I included something similar to this in my Missguided wishlist which was why I was rather hesitant to include this here...but how could I not! The floral print, the colours...such a versatile and dressy piece that will definitely get you noticed!

Gone are the days where shorts are reserved for casual wear. These embellished ones bring the 'dressy shorts' game up to a whole new level. I love the intricate detailing and can see this being night-time appropriate with a fancy blouse tucked in and a pair of heels (or wedges)!

Firstly, how comfortable does this look? Being petite, I'm not too fond of jumpsuits, but as this is wide leg, it looks like the most comfortable thing on earth. Super flowy, super comfy, super perfect for the beach. But then pair this with a statement necklace and pumps and you're set for the night!

The embroidered areas on this jacket is without a doubt the 'stand-out' parts of this and I think it's more unique than your boring black jacket. It also looks pretty lightweight so it can be used as a beach cover up as well!

The best part? The total of all 10 items only comes up to £90! What a bargain.

Japan Photo Diary - Day 1&2 (Kyoto)

Crop top - Missguided
Culottes - Atmosphere (Forever 21 similar)
Sunglasses - eBay

With much delay, if you follow me on Instagram (@infamoushearts), you would've already seen some of these! I have tons of pictures in my camera roll that I had to choose my absolute favourites or these will take aeons to load. The outfit above is actually what I wore for Day 2 because Day 1 was just travelling and I dressed like a hobo because comfy is key. Got those paisley printed culottes off eBay secondhand and they are so comfy that it feels like you're not wearing any pants...too much information? But seriously though, a basic crop top and culottes combination is the best for vacation.

Day 1

Landed in Osaka in the afternoon and it was H.O.T. Yes, I know it's summer, but because Japan is so up north from the Equator, I thought it'd be a bit cooling...so weather, you disappointed me. Apart from that, Japan is beautiful. Osaka was a lot less 'crowded' and metropolitan than I expected as there are tons of beautiful alleyways and narrow streets where all the restaurants and shops are. The streets are very pedestrian friendly and if the locals aren't taking the subway, they are biking around. A word of advice: the subway system in Japan is uber confusing...especially since there is limited English wording so it took a bit of getting used to :/ On the bright side, people here are incredibly friendly and public transport (trains and buses) are very convenient.

Day 2

We took the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, a city nearby, for a day trip. This time, we went sightseeing and walked to Kiyomizu Temple. The architecture is brilliant. The houses look relatively old fashioned are are all really closed together on narrow streets - so picturesque. On the way to the temple, there were tons of shops selling things ranging from souvenirs, Japanese sweets, tea, ice cream (which by the way, were amazing with the most random flavours) and food! The good thing about this is that a lot of stores that offered free testers so of course I took advantage of that...their mochi is a must-try. A sweet treat with a billion flavours available. I could have that all there. Also, you don't have to worry about being thirsty in Japan because there are vending machines everywhere. At least 1 every 10metres or so, selling cold drinks and sometimes even warm food or ice cream! Best buying experience ever :P I was also quite surprised to see that many girls (and sometimes guys) in kimonos, but they looked so pretty that I wanted one myself.

Hope you enjoyed my Japan photo diary so far! Check back in this space for more to come!

Life's Snapshots #13

It's almost been a month since I did my last Instagram round up...but all the pictures were really of the Japan trip which I promise you will be up after I've sift through my huge archive in my camera roll and pick out the best ones. Anyway, lately, I've been thinking about 2 things:

1. Changing my blog URL to 'infamoushearts' because thecraziestparadigm (although I love it), is a bit too long and doesn't fit for most social media usernames...I'm trying to be more tech savvy here :P So...if you see a redirect or a URL change, don't be alarm, it's still me. You can see that I've changed my Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest to reflect that already! But I'd still love to know your opinion so...what do you guys think?

2. Having long hair for the past decade or so and seeing all the hair-inspo from girls with shorter hair has given me the urge to chop off my hair to slightly past shoulder length. Now this will be a massive change that I think I'll go through with because I haven't had short hair in agesss, it's time for a change and hey, it's just hair - it'll grow. All I need to do now is to actually get the guts to go to the hairdressers :P
