The Ultimate Guide to eBay Shopping (Auctions)

I'm a massive fan of buying things on eBay and have built up quite a collection of my 'eBay bargains'. The two smock dresses from ASOS above were £7 each...that Motel skirt was a mere £2.50! Of course that's just a fraction of what I've bought from eBay! If you look hard enough, you can really find some amazing bargains that can give sales a run for their money - even for brands like Motel Rocks, Topshop, Missguided or Zara. Many assume that eBay equates to second-hand pre-worn items but that is definitely not the case! Some items listed are either brand new, or brand new without tags. Of course, with buying things online, it comes with a few risks. Since I've been buying things on eBay for quite a few years now, I thought I would share my top tips to make your eBay shopping an amazing experience...

Bargain eBay Watches

More eBay posts, yayyy! Seriously, if quality isn't the main priority for you, or if you're a broke university/college student that just want something pretty, eBay is the place to go. I can spend hours and hours just clicking and browsing through the things that eBay has to offer for an incredibly low price. I've previously showed you my bargain eBay sunglasses finds as well as the Harry Potter gems that you can find on eBay for those Potterheads out there. Today, I've got some adorable watches for you guys to drool over.

To be fair, I rarely ever wear watches. I use to wear this yellow digital one a few years ago but now I find it weird to have a watch on my wrist and I tell the time via my phone. But these watches are so pretty that I don't mind wearing a watch! Which is probably good because it makes telling the time much more convenient :P

Map Watch - eBay (US$2.18 // £1.27)

One of my favourite watches to date. I absolutely love the world map on the face of the watch and the simplicity of the whole thing. Sometimes, watches with too much going on makes me dizzy. In my opinoin, the dark brown faux leather straps (also comes in a lighter brown) gives the watch a neutral, vintage-y feel which means you can pair this with anything - dresses, jeans, shorts, fancy, casual...you name it. Although one negative-ish comment would be that this watch obviously doesn't have numbers on it so a hint of time-guessing will be inevitable. But then again, despite the inconvenience, I think it looks better without the numbers. I like to call this, a watch for the wanderluster.

Jelly Silicone Watches - eBay (US$2.28 // £1.33)

I received the pink one for my birthday and the mint one is my sister's. Cheap, but looks oh so luxurious. A much more modern/minimalist design but equally as cute. The straps and rim are made out of jelly-like silicone which makes it super flexible and comfy. I'm not quite sure what the 3 inner circles represent and the top and bottom dial on the sides are basically redundant and only for decorative purposes so let's not worry about them :P Also, these watches come in every colour of the rainbow so you can choose your favourite shade. Of course, my sister and myself are both pastel babies :') Great for a pop of colour in a more neutral outfit.

May Haul // ASOS, eBay, Persunmall, Kiss The Sky & more...

Another month, a few things that I've got!

I featured this in my wishlist 2 weeks ago! Denim shorts are the perfect thing to keep cool during summer, and what better way to do that than a pair of awesome flower printed ones to keep things from getting too boring? I love how the print is simple yet stands out amongst ordinary denim shorts. Pair it with crop tops on the beach, crochet items at a festival or button downs to look smart-casual!

Mint scalloped hem tank top - eBay (US$8.31 // £4.95)

Your basic tank top with a scalloped hem for added detail - good basic pieces are great when building a
foundation for your wardrobe of any season! What's not to love?

Angel cut out top - eBay (US$4.29 // £2.55)

Front, looks like your average black tee. Back, the party just got started. Smexy angel wings cut outs means that
you show adequate amount of skin without going overboard! Wear this with a printed bandeau for added fun or
perhaps as a cover up at the beach? Also, this top is perfect if you've always dreamed of having angel wings...
be careful of that tan, your wish just might be granted ;)

Pink skater skirt - eBay (US$5.45 // £3.25) // Polka dot skirt - eBay (US$5.94 // £3.54)

Simple skater skirts for everyday wear. The shade blush is becoming increasingly popular (or maybe I just like
that colour) and hey, polka-dotted anything is a winner.

High rise skinny jeans - New Look via ASOS (similar on New Look site here)

I will take time to praise these pair of jeans because they are now my new favourite pair. I've been loving high-rise jeans lately because they're just so flattering, especially for those of you with a smaller waist in proportion because it emphasizes that (yay!). Anyway, these jeans are so comfy and fits perfectly. All my other 'high-rise' or 'high-waisted' jeans have always had the awkward gap at the waist which I hate, but these...cling at all the right places (insert starry-eyed emoji) Of course, I still have to cuff them because I'm tiny but nevertheless, love these.

Cami Crochet dress - Kiss The Sky via ASOS (US$22.86 // £12.00)

I saw this on the ASOS site and knew that I had to get them! It looked so good on the model and it looks
even better on - the pictures do it no justice. I've always wanted a crochet-waisted (does that make sense?)
dress so...voila! It's definitely great for summer, going to the beach, music festival, sight-seeing...the works. And
it's so light and flowy that it won't take up much space/weight in your luggage (for those that tend to overpack
perhaps...like me). Plus, the straps are adjustable which are always great (:

Leather trim asymmetric mini skirt - ASOS (US$14.29 // £7.50)

I got this in case I needed one for more formal occasions and I was drawn to the leather trim! Your normal
bodycon skirt really but it's a wardrobe staple with a leather twist.

Map watch - eBay (US$2.75 /£1.64)

Ahhh, the infamous map watch to satisfy (only ever so slightly) the travel-buds. This map watch has a very
vintage vibe to it which makes it great for all occasions! Slightly peeved that there are no numbers on this watch
which makes telling time difficult...defeating it's purpose but for that price, I'll just get it to add to my collection
and because it has a bloody map of the world on it!

Wildfox inspired sunglasses - eBay (US$2.80 // £1.67)

Perhaps not the most practical, but definitely the coolest ;)

Sunglasses - eBay (US$3.12 // £1.86)

Love these sunglasses, they fit well considering I have no nose bridge so they do stay up pretty alright! It also
comes with a sunglasses case (at least mine did) which is even better and you has space to store 2 pairs!

Jewellery - gifted by an aunt in New Zealand

Thought I'd include these anyway because they're really lovely pieces of jewellery! I had a picture of the necklace up on my Instagram recently!

Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in #107 - ASOS (US$10.46 // £5.49) // Maybelline Master Liner

I've heard such good things of the Kate Matte Lipstick in #107 and I was in need of a plum/berry shade in my collection! So of course I picked that up. I also needed black eyeliner since I've been depending on my dark blue one for what seems like forever. I'll be reviewing these as well as a billion of other things I said I'd review real sooooon! I promise!

What have you picked up this May?

Bargain eBay Sunglasses

Since I showed you some of my Harry Potter Gems that I found on eBay last week and it got a positive response! So here's the result of another 'trailing through eBay' excursion :P

It's spring...the temperature is warming up and the Sun is starting to come out...which means that the one thing that one must stock up on are sunglasses. Not only do they keep the glaring sun rays out from your eyes, but they make you look insanely chic as well - prior to this, I own 3 pairs ;)
But of course, you don't have to spend an exuberant amount! Not when you have eBay on your side ;) Here are some bargains that I found!

Pink Sunglasses£2.09 / US$3.51

Pastel colours this spring aren't just limited to clothing. Why not wear them on your sunglasses too! I'm a sucker for pink so this pastel/baby pink shade immediately caught my eye. I love that it's slightly rounded and has gold accents - especially the arrows at the front!

Floral Sunglasses - £2.08 / US$3.50

My sister actually got these for herself but I had to feature them!
Florals. Another major print for spring. I'd quote Miranda Priestly from 'The Devil Wears Prada' but I've read that wayyy too many times :P (Now that I'm writing this, I think I'll go watch the movie later :D)
I love love love that the floral pattern is subtle and almost has a translucent stain glass effect, giving it a vintage vibe

Here you can see the size - yes, it does take up like half my face but that's because I've got a small one! My only peeve is that it won't sit properly and keeps sliding down! Of course, I'm blaming my small head for this one. D: Although the description says that it has good anti-UV function, at that price, I would take that with a pinch of salt.

Have you bought any sunglasses lately? Which is your favourite pair?
