Don't you just love this advert? Yepp, it's all about orange this summer & MAC is catching on with the trend. I think that this collection will be perfect for adding a subtle hint of orange in your everyday wear, just in time for summer, if you're not too comfortable with going full blast with the bright orange trend.

"Orange. Its vibrant energy and modern edge ignites fashion and beauty big time in Korea, the rest of Asia and the world. It's one of the new global super shades that pops with sizzle and cool sophistication. M∙A∙C translates the trend with international impact into a colour collection for face, lips and nails." - MAC US

My verdict

Although not strictly just orange - as it has variations of pinks and corals - I still think that this collection is perfect for summer. I'm most excited to try:
Lipstick: Sushi Kiss
Cremesheen Glass: Double Happiness
Powder Blush: Honey Jasmine
Nail Lacquer: Ke Ai

Yes, as you can see, I prefer softer shades :D

For the eyeshadow quad, I'm a little disappointed as it seems like the 'odd one out' of the collection since there's not a bit of orange! I thought that they may've included either bright orange or coral eyeshadow shades and the eyeshadow 'rainy season' quad isn't very summery :( BUT, I guess it can either be a base or accompany any brighter eyeshadow shades you already have (:

Coming to stores on: June 6th (TODAY!)
