This was meant to be posted 2 days ago, but I was rushing to finish a Philosophy essay because I'm an amazing procrastinator and haven't yet lost my touch. As usual, I could not resist the temptation of a good Boxing Day sale and hence, did just a little bit of damage at New Look :P In fact, the sale is still going on and I think you can still get some of these pieces! Also, I ordered some pieces from Forever 21 a long while ago so I thought I would show that too because I love a good haul, and I hope you do too!

Outfit // Beating Heart

"Wanna hear your beating heart tonight
Before the bleeding sun comes alive
I want to make the best of what is left, hold tight
And hear my beating heart one last time
Before daylight"
- Beating Heart - Ellie Goulding
Ever since the movie Divergent came out, this song has been stuck in my head on replay! For those that did not watch it yet...you have to asap!
I actually wore this for Easter Sunday last week and it incorporated 2 spring trends - floral print and maxi skirts - simple yet classy and reminds me of Coachella. The skirt was such a bargain at £6.00 too! Besides the lovely floral print, what I love about that crop top is the 'ladder' cut out effect at the
back which makes it even more unique than a normal floral print crop top.
Oh and, I've got huge ass exams coming up in a week so...if my blog posting becomes a bit sporadic, please bear with me!
Hope you all had a great weekend! What are you inspired by during Coachella?

Wishlist #24 // Basic Essentials
I must say, I'm quite liking having patterned borders around my wishlists - perhaps this will be a permanent feature (:
You know those handful of tops that every girl just needs to have in their closet because they go with absolutely everything and are perfect for every season or occasion?
Well these picks here are among the top of my list!
1. Striped 3/4 Sleeve Henley Tee - Dynamite Clothing ($22.90)
Stripes are becoming one of my favourite prints because they go with everything. This henley tee is perfect if you want a change in colour that's not too drastic! Shades of grey/black? Yes please! It's also 3/4 length which means it's great for layering or for those chillier nights - your number one basic essentials.
2. Easy Self Tie Woven Top - Forever 21 ($17.80)
Love love love this. It's so flowy and just the right amount of bagginess without looking sloppy. The tied front is what drew me to this top in the first place because it just looks so good! Also gives off a bohemian vibe which is just right for any upcoming festivals or even for frolicking on the beach!
3. Cropped Boyfriend Tshirt with Roll sleeves - ASOS ($15.06)
Simplicity at its best. How can you not like the perfect pastel blue spring colour? Everyone needs a crop top in the wardrobe and what better way than with this? I particularly love the touch of the roll sleeves that makes it more casual.
4. Comfort Zone Dolman Top - Forever 21 ($14.80)
You know those tops that have just the right amount of slouchiness? The ones that you can lounge around your house all day because they're that comfy? Well this is definitely one of them. What's even better is that you can wear this out and no one would know any better! This one is definitely a staple.
5. Flowy Tunic - Forever 21 ($13.80)
How beautiful is that colour? When you want to add colour to your outfit without going overboard, this is it. Wear it out with leggings and jeans or tucked into shorts or skirts - possibilities are endless.
6. Short Sleeve Geometric Print Top - Macy's ($11.99)
You can never go wrong with geometric prints and monochromatic tones. This top has the best of both worlds. Dress is up or dress it down...a must for your closet!
P.S: If you followed me on Twitter, you would know that... Boohoo put my latest outfit post (here) on their instagram (hereeee)! Wheeeeee! This is the first time that that has ever happened so I'm super duper happy right now :D

OOTD // Panda all Glammed up
Apologies for the blurry images! Yea... I can't really think of post names :P
Top: a boutique in Vietnam
Skirt: Forever 21
Hat: Stolen from sister
Ear cuff: Claire's Accessories
I don't think the pictures do the skirt justice because it is one of my all time favourite skirts. It is high waisted with lots of pleats and the material is light, flowy with gold shimmer on it that shines when it is reflected with light. I think it's the perfect piece to glam up or dress down.
As you can see here, I've dressed the skirt down with a panda super crop top. Now that was an impulse buy because I saw it, thought it was incredibly cute and just HAD to have it! Paired with the skirt, I think it gives off a casual vibe and balances the glam-ness and shimmer of the skirt (:
What do you guys think? (:

How to Style: Cropped Tribal Print Tank + OOTD (Part 2/2)
![]() |
| Cropped Tribal Print Top: Forever 21 // MOTO Black Skinny Leigh Jeans: Topshop // Autumn Belle Brown Booties // Brown crossbody bag |
This is definitely a more polished yet casual look as it incorporates more neutral colours (browns & blacks) whilst keeping it interesting with the pop of hot pink.

| Cropped Tribal Tank Top: Forever 21 // Destroyed Denim Midi Shorts: American Eagle Outfitters // Lola Embellished Sandals: UK Accessorize // I'd Rather Be At the Beach Alphabet Bag: Lemon & Mint // Floppy Beach Hat // Brown Beaded Bracelet // |
I created this look with the beach and summer in mind! Since this top is flowy, it's perfect for keeping cool during the summer weather with either a bikini top or bandeau underneath. Pair it with sandals, floppy hat and a simple tote bag and you're ready for strolling along the beach promenade (:

| Cropped Tribal Print Tank: Forever 21 // Purple Bodycon Skirt // Suede Black Wedges: Reflection // Black oversized bag // Vintage Hinged Owl Necklace: Babi Online // Chain & Purple Feather Earrings: Charlotte Russe |
In my opinion, this look is more dressy as the bodycon skirt, black wedges and oversized bag makes it more formal yet fun and young! Perfect for a night out, or a presentation at university or work!
And here's MY take on the third look (:
Top: Forever 21 // Purple bodycon skirt: Kitschen // Owl necklace: Claire's Accessories // Grey oversized cardigan: unbranded // Purple feather earrings: Diva
I added a cardigan to keep things more casual and for added warmth (:
Do you like the looks? How would you style it?
